Education I became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1977, working in nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and a hospital, including private duty and have done insurance physicals for insurance companies. I became licensed as a Certified Professional Midwife November 2002.
Experience My interest in the healing properties of herbs and vitamins began while working in a doctor’s office, and developing this interest more when we moved to the country. My husband and I later went into partnership with in a health food store here in our local town. Over the years I have had the opportunity to offer council and advice in nutrition through cooking schools and bread making demonstrations. After having breastfeed my own two children, I have encouraged and advised women over the past 20 years in the art of breastfeeding. I am continually advancing my skills by taking classes and attending seminars to properly advise nursing mothers with the best techniques of breastfeeding. Personal Information I, reside in |
